OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, OCTOBER 7, 2005:

MYRTLE A. IMMEL (nee MOLL) Hobart, Indiana Age 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2005. She was a lifetime resident of Hobart and was a graduate of Hobart High School. She was employed for many years at General Telephone where she started as a telephone operator.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel J. Immel and her son, Kenn "Sam" Immel and her daughter, Adrienne Lovall. Survived by her loving daughter-in-law and caretaker, Gloria Immel; 2 sons, Leslie (Liz) Immel of Portage, David (Sherry) Immel of Alabama; 7 grandchildren, Marianne (Jim) Holmes, Joanne Immel, Daniel (Sheri) Lovall, Douglas (Arlene) Lovall, Aaron (Malinda) Immel, Tony Vickrey, and Vickie (Brent) Dunlap; 9 great-grandchildren, Joshua (Sandy) Field, Justin Field, Hunter Popp, Shawna and Samantha Holmes, Aaron and Anna Lovall and Madalyn and Kallie Linzy; great great grandchild, Aisha Field; 2 sisters, Mona Ciastko of Moreno Valley, CA, Pauline Neighbors of South Bend, IN; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many good friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart, IN. Rev. Richard Brown officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Burns Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00-7:00 p.m. (time of service).
