OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MARCH 15, 2004:

  CHRIS MADISON Age 16, of Hobart, passed away Friday, March 12, 2004. He was a lifetime Hobart resident and a was a Sophomore at Hobart High School. He loved music, playing his guitar, watching movies, and reading books.

He is survived by his parents, James L. and Linda L. Madison of Hobart; grandparents, Shirley Powell of Hobart, Donald L. (Diane) Brown of Hobart, James P. (Jean Ann) Madison of Hobart; aunts & uncles, Patrick J. (Janey) Madison of Macon, GA, Connie (Chuck) King of Terre Haute, IN, Cheryl (Joe) Wytovicz of Lakes of the Four Seasons, Don (Kelly) Brown of Holliston, MA, Riley and Elsie Brown of Hobart; cousins, Michael and Faith Madison, Jordan and Jesse Brown, and Rick King; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy M. Madison, and uncle, Michael C. Madison.

Funeral services are Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Jon J. Plavcan officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 2 - 5 and 7-9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart. Cremation will take place at Calvary Crematory.
