OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, JUNE 27, 2007:

Bryan D. Scott, age 47, of Hobart, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007. He was born on Dec. 12, 1959 in Gary, IN the son of Reede & Juanita (Ballard) Scott. He was a member of the Hobart High School Class of 1977. Bryan worked for Jansen's Open Air Fruit Market stocking produce. Bryan loved motorcycles & was a wonderful son & brother.

Bryan is survived by his loving family, mother, Juanita Scott of Hobart; sister, Patricia Abramson of Boone Grove; brother, Gary (Melanie) Scott of Hobart, Greg (Karen) Scott of Crown Point; numerous nieces, nephews & other loving family & dear friends. Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Reede Scott in 2000 & brother-in-law, Michael Abramson in 2001.

Visitation for Bryan Scott will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday. June 28, 2007 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd, Hobart. Private family services will then be held with cremation to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
