OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MARCH 29, 2012:

Trager, Darrell L. Age 81 of Hobart passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. He was a longtime Hobart resident and a longtime member of Augustana Lutheran Church. He retired in 1995 from plastering. He was a member of the American Legion Post #54 and the VFW Post 5365. He played the Baritone in the Rusty Pipes and the German Band.

He is survived by 6 children, Sheryll Bennett, Carla (Roger) May, Paula (Bruce) Spoljaric, Brian Trager, Timothy Trager, Darrell R. Trager, 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne M. Trager, 5 children, Tommy, Karen, Tamera, Jamie, and Chrystal Trager.

Funeral services are Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 207 Kelly Street, Hobart. Visitation is Friday just prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Church. (219) 942-2109 or www.Reesfuneralhomes.com.
