Elizabeth A. Willmoth, 84, of West Lafayette & formerly of Hobart, died, at 7:30 PM, Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at Cumberland Pointe Health Campus. She was born November 19, 1928, in Gary, IN, to the late David & Elphie (Dahl) Johnston. She graduated from Hobart High School. She married Richard Willmoth, April 4, 1948 in Hobart, IN; he died November 27, 1994. She had worked at Sears, Roebuck starting in the Personnel Department & 1963 & retiring in 1983 as a Department Manager. She was a Member of the West Lafayette Christian Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, wintering in Florida, flowers, hummingbirds & word games.
She is survived by daughter, Catherine (husband Dave) McKinnis, their children, Peter & Amy McKinnis, John McKinnis & his fiancé Laura Cramer, Daughter, Cynthia McComber, her children, Kelly & Bill Haynes, Jennifer & Jim Bush, Sister, Carol (Husband Jerry) Godfrey & Brother Larry Johnston. A Son, Richard Knute Willmoth & Brother, Bruce Johnston precedes her in death.
Private Services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to West Lafayette Christian Church. Shoemaker Funeral Home, Otterbein, is assisting the Family.
