Samantha A. Volk, age 32 of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011. She is survived by her son, Landon; parents: Rob and Kathy Volk of Chicago Heights, IL; brother, Jason Volk of Chesterton; two sisters: Josie Volk of MO and Nat Volk of Valparaiso; and many nieces and nephews. Samantha was preceded in death by her son, Cortland.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. Bob Parnell officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
