OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, SEPTEMBER 29, 2008:

William "Billy" Jacob Barnes, age 19 of Hobart, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008. He attended Hobart High School. Billy had a passion for motocross racing, skateboarding, snowboarding and water skiing. He enjoyed doing anything adventurous.

Billy is survived by his loving parents: William and Sherry Barnes of Hobart; sisters: Kristy and Roxanne Landrum of Hobart; nephew, Calvin Alcos; grandmother, Alfena Landrum of Hobart; several loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and many loving friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th Street, Hobart. Interment in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. www.burnsfuneral.com.
