OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, NOVEMBER 12, 2006:

ADAM M. MAICKI Hobart, Indiana Age 25 a lifetime Hobart resident, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2006. Adam was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a true Colts fan and loved country music.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don & Betty Hester and paternal grandfather, Donald Maicki. He is survived by his mother, Carol (John) Kundrat of Hobart; father, Al (Ruth) Maicki of KY; 2 brothers, Ryan Maicki of Denver, CO, Chris Maicki of Hobart; step brother, John Kundrat of Hobart; paternal grandmother, Erma Trask of ME; numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St. Hobart, IN. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Friends may meet with the family at Burns Funeral Home (Hobart) on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited.
