DR. RALPH BANKS
HOBART -- Dr. Ralph Banks, who practiced dentistry here 35 years, died last night following a heart attack. He had been in poor health for several months but had been carrying on his practice.
He was stricken at his home, 87 W. Third St., two hours before midnight. Dr. Banks is survived by the widow, Marie, and two sons.
Funeral arrangements are pending. The body is at the Pflughoeft funeral home, 613 Third St., Hobart.

DR. RALPH E. BANKS
HOBART -- Funeral services for Dr. Ralph G. Banks, 55, prominent dentist and active civic leader who died Tuesday night, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Methodist church in Hobart.
Rev. H. L. Adams will officiate. The Masonic lodge will conduct brief graveside services. Burial will be held in the Hobart cemetery.
A graduate of Hobart high school and Indiana university, Banks was past president of the Northern Indiana Dental Assn. and was recently appointed a member of the Hobart school board.
He also held memberships in the Masonic Lodge, Shrine, Eastern Star, American Legion, Lions club, and the Izaak Walton league.
Survivors are the widow, Marie; two sons, James and Richard; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lutz and Mrs. Bess MacGillivray, and three brothers, William, Edward and Roy.
