Rene Luellman - Class Of 1943

RENE H. LUELLMAN
Age 78, of Lake Station, passed away April 4, 2003 in Hobart. He was a retired Layout for American Bridge, a member of Local 1117, a WWII Army Veteran, a member of VFW 9323 in Lake Station, and attended Hobart High School. In 1946 he married Gloria Aitken who survives in Lake Station.
 
He will also be missed by his sons, Thomas (Grace) Luellman of Portage, Richard "Dickey" (Debbie) Luellman of Portage, Robert Luellman of New York, William (Chung) Luellman of Hobart, Kenneth (Sherry) Luellman of Lake Station, Rodney (Sherrill) Luellman of Hobart, and Timothy (Lisa) Luellman of Indianapolis; daughters, Linda (Anton) Nokovic of Freemont, Cindy (Dennis) Witt of Lake Station, Carol (Eddie) Hammond of Hobart, Patricia Luellman of Merrillville, and Martha "Marti" (Victor) Vargas of Lake Station; sisters, Joyce (Bob) McKnight of Mississippi, Jonie (Kenneth) Board of Lake Station, Debbie (John) Brock of Lake Station, and Janice (Roger) Furr of North Carolina; 31 grandchildren; 31 great grandchilden. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marlene and Lavonne; his parents, Martin and Martha Luellman; and step-mother, Anne and 2 great great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at the Christopher Funeral Home, 1307 Central Ave., Lake Station with Rev. Gary Nagy officiating. Interment Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends may visit with the Family on Monday from 1-9 pm at the Christopher Funeral Home, 219-962-4115.
