My Brother, Patrick "Pat" William Brady, 68, passed away on March 14th, 2020 in the loving arms of his wife, Suzanne "Suzie" Halfacre Brady. He lived with a servant's heart and his heart just could not give anymore. He was an admired son, brother, husband, father, foster-parent and friend. Proudly serving in the US Army and held the rank of E5 Sergeant.

His wide range of accomplishments included factory management, co-owner of Complete Auto and Cycle, a master of home building, carpentry, tile, automobile, truck, machinery, and motorcycle repair - you name it and Pat could finish the job, plus cook and play Santa Claus. He was a great leader of people. For over 20 years Pat and Suzie have traveled the United States, visiting Zoo's, National Parks, Historical Monuments, all while being self-employed as cargo expeditors. Pat was known not loving the telephone but showing his love buying donuts and leaving them on the porch. Or quickly leaving a message saying "I'm driving by and waving at you can you see me"? He truly loved his family and most of all "Suzie".

They were like salt and pepper, cheese and wine. What other couple do you know that could live together in a Sprinter truck 10 - 11 months out of the year. They made each other's life whole and could actually complete each other's sentences. Together they were ONE. They would do anything for each other. I think it was around 2000 they sold everything and moved from Michigan to Dallas to be close to our mother. Her eyes would just light up when he showed up unannounced. One year he surprised her by showing up at the Arlington, TX Eunice Senior Center as Santa. Pat told me, Mom had her own harem at that place - except all men! Pat and I may not have spoken or seen each other very much since Mom passed in 2007, but I know IF I CALLED he would call me back.

I ask for your prayers for Suzie and their children. As some have said to me "We all have an expiration date and we do not known when that day will come", "This is a big hurt, and will require a big band-aid", most importantly "Keep the Faith". There are not enough words to express how broken hearted I am. I would have given him my heart. See you on the other side Brother.
