GROVERTOWN-William H. Remus, 79, formerly of Koontz Lake, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, IN.

Bill was born November 12, 1938 in Hobart, IN to William and Dora (Craven) Remus. He was a former EMT with the Starke County and Pulaski County EMS and a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Walkerton American Legion, Post #189.

On November 6, 1980 in Hobart, IN, he was married to Helene "Ella" Patterson, who preceded him in death in 1995. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sue MacGreagor; and brother, Randy Remus. Survivors include his companion, Flora Ann LiVigne of Grovertown and one brother, Curtis Remus of Hobart.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation has taken place. Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel is handling arrangements.
