School Story:
So many to recall, it's hard to single out a few. Riding bikes all day without fear of danger, playing my 45s until my mother got sick of them, learning to dance by watching American Bandstand and going to the Ho-Hive during lunch after Abbott's.
Lo-Jacs, B&K, and Paul's. Friday night football in Brickie Bowl! Dancing in the lobby at HHS. Dorothy Thompson pulled plug one day to measure girls' skirts, charging they were too short! Of course, making floats for homecoming, hayrides, parties, dances, parades, Frey's Dairy Queen.
Perhaps, tipping over the construction outhouse behind HHS and getting called to Dorothy Cox's office!
