Obituary for Rebecca "Becky" A. Juzwicki

Rebecca “Becky” A. Juzwicki, age 72, of Hobart, Indiana, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was born in Gary, Indiana, and was a proud graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1971.

Becky found joy in her family, her grandchildren, and the simple pleasures of life—sewing Christmas stockings, watching football, and fishing. Her greatest passion was her work as an elementary school librarian, where she brought stories to life through character voices and hand-made props that sparked imagination and joy in countless children.

Becky was an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and creativity touched everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Nancy Raiza; brother, R.O. Raiza; and her husband, Lawrence Juzwicki.

She is survived by her daughters Kacey (Brock) Allen, Kyle (Glenn) Bultema, and Kelly (Colin) McDonald; her sister, Cindy (Mark) Carter; and her beloved grandchildren—Chandler and Cooper Allen, Bella, Reid, and Charlotte “Charley” Bultema, and Lawrence “Wren” McDonald—along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home in Hobart.
