Hey Bob. I was hoping to see you at the reunion in Hobart Aug 17th. Oh well it was a great time seeing everyone that was there. Hope all is well.
Happy Birthday, Bob!
Hope all is well with you! May God bless you with many more happy, healthy years ahead!
Speaking of years ahead, mark your calendar for Saturday, August 17, 2024 for our 50th class reunion! We’re planning it around the Hobart Lakefront Festival 8/15-8/18 so we have more opportunities to get together throughout the weekend.
I reached out to Donna on facebook and she confirmed the contact info I had for you was correct. We will be doing a mailing sometime in March. Sure hope you can join us! It would be great to see you after all these years!
Love,
Martha. (219) 742-8184
Knew John from being on the basketball team at Hobart. He was a year older. I knew him as the worn out term "competitor". He was one of the best players on the team which said a lot because at that time Hobart basketball was at its peak. When I was a Sophmore and John was a Junior we won the first sectional championship in the history of the school. A huge deal at that time because Indiana still did not have "class" basketball and the state tournament was HUGE. John was a leader, but not a rah-rah type. He led mostly by example. If you screwed up during a game, he would give you "that look". Meaning he knew you screwed up but don't do it again. Of course, we younger guys looked up to him since he was such a great athlete.
Everyone in Hobart at the time knew who John was. He was a celebrity.
hey.... thanks for turning me on this site.... spent sometime looking around.... I did not know about Jim Enrico.... last time I talked to him he was in Colorado, that was years ago. I remember going down to Indy to see him a few times at Butler....
