Pam Costello (Harkins) - Class Of 1979

OBITUARY FROM THE REES FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE:

PAMELA S. HARKINS, age 58 was a beloved wife, mother, and meme. She was a life long resident of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019. She was born to the late William and Elaine Costello on November 2, 1960 in Gary, Indiana. She was a 1979 graduate of Hobart High School and worked for many years in management at American Legion Post #54, where she used her many talents to make a great impact to those around her. She had an uncanny way to reach people in a deep positive way. She met her loving husband Dan in 2004 at the VFW and it was love at first sight.

She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel P. Harkins; 5 children, Matthew (Barbra) Bonner, Danielle (Adam Hall) Bonner-Hall, Kristian (Jonathan) Mosley, Justin A. (Angela Embry) Bonner, Staci M. (Dwayne) Sanders; 2 step-children, Chad (Wila) Harkins and Nikki (Brian) Fattore; 19 grandchildren, Ciara, AJ, Michael, Lucas, Laney, Alexandria, Victoria, Elizabeth, Mckenzie, Andrew, Anthony, Dillan, Ashlynn, Riley, Dwayne Jr., Caleb, Mason, Luke, Zack; 3 siblings, Jack (Donna) Costello, Donna (the late Thomas) Williams, and Elaine Price; other loving family and dear friends.

Pamela was also preceded in death by her siblings, Billy, Vicky, and Marty Costello.

Family, friends and others lives she touched are invited to the funeral services for Pamela on Friday, September 13, 2019 with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, 46342.

Afterwards, guests are invited to a potluck at the American Legion Post 54 at 208 S. Linda St. Hobart, IN., to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
