OBITUARY FROM NW TIMES, AUGUST 8, 2014:

Diane D. Klassen, born January 11, 1956 passed away August 7, 2014 at the age of 58. She fought a long hard battle with Lupus for over 30 years.

She is survived by her son, Pete; daughter-in-law, Barb and five grandchildren, Jade, Destiny, Jagger, Lexi and Ian. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Rita Crull; sister-in-law, Carol (Ed) Cowgill; brother-in-law, Ron (Delores) Klassen; sisters, Angel Yorko, Joyce Mitchell, and Candy Smith and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She worked at Regional Federal Credit Union for years and made many friends while she was there. She was a great mother, mother-in-law, aunt, sister and friend and will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard.

She will be cremated will be no services per her last wishes. A celebration of life will be at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368. Cremation services provided by Heritage Crematory, Portage, IN.
